Fishing Report: 2024-25 Season Opening at Pirá Lodge

As part of this commitment, we are proud to announce that we have started transitioning our lodges to renewable energy, beginning with the installation and activation of solar panels at several of our lodges: Kau Tapen Lodge (Tierra del Fuego, Argentina), Delta Lodge (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Abaco Lodge (Bahamas), La Dormida, Pica Zuro, and Córdoba Lodge (all in Córdoba, Argentina), and El Tobar Camp (Tucumán, Argentina). Mayazul Lodge – Season Kickoff Fishing Report 2024

We are delighted to have wrapped up the inaugural month of operations at Mayazul Lodge!

Our intimate, beachfront lodge is located right on the Mayan Riviera, close to Punta Allen. It features just four rooms (accommodating up to 8 anglers), each offering two queen beds. Our attractive lounging and dining areas provide stunning views of the flats you and your guide will pole, searching for tailing fish and new adventures.

Villa Maria Lodge: End of Season Report 2024

The 2024 fishing season at Villa Maria Lodge started strong with the Rio Grande at an excellent level. Despite being lower than expected for this time of year, it provided thrilling fishing and comfortable wading. Typically, the first weeks of the season bring erratic fishing with fish just beginning to gather in swift-moving groups. Locating these groups often feels like a game of hide and seek, requiring extensive movement along the beats.

Kautapen Lodge: End of Season Report 2024

As the 2024 fishing season draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the highs and challenges that defined our journey. Beginning in the second week of January, we faced rapidly dropping water levels, posing a test of skill and adaptability. The initial six weeks presented a formidable obstacle – a river running low and clear, requiring the use of floating and intermediate lines, as well as long leaders and small flies to entice the elusive sea trout, particularly wary under the harsh daylight conditions created by crystal-clear waters.

Suindá Lodge: End of Season Report 2024
