A new chapter is taking shape in the Bahamas. Exuma Lodge is currently under development, with its grand opening
scheduled for 2028. The project is already drawing enormous excitement within the fly-fishing world, and for good reason. The southern tip of Great Exuma offers one of the most untouched and promising fisheries we have ever scouted, a place that blends accessibility with true wilderness.
We can’t stress enough how excited we are about this new program. Exuma gives us the rare chance to build an A-game fishing experience from the ground up in some of the most pristine waters in the Bahamas. And we’re confident that what is taking shape here will soon stand on its own as a flagship destination for saltwater anglers.
In the heart of the Bahamas, where the light hits the water in a way found nowhere else, lies a place we’ve chased for years. A place of endless white-sand flats, where every step reveals movement, life, and the promise of something truly special.
Here, on the untouched southern tip of Great Exuma, the ocean opens into miles of hard-bottom shallows—built for long wades, sharp eyes, and bonefish of rare beauty. And in the right tides, these pristine flats even offer the occasional shot at a permit slipping through the shadows. These flats have seen remarkably little pressure, staying wild, generous, and exactly as nature shaped them. And every horizon feels like the start of a new story.
And while the fishery feels remote and pristine, getting here couldn’t be easier. Exuma is one of the most accessible islands in the Bahamas, with multiple nonstop flights from the U.S. into George Town International Airport—placing anglers just minutes from the flats.
Exuma Lodge rises here—crafted from the ground up to the Nervous Waters standard.
A boutique retreat for just eight anglers, designed with refined coastal simplicity and framed by ocean views that feel cinematic.
No trailering. No long runs. Just you, the flats, and the purest access in the Bahamas.
